| |

A Collective Step Toward Social Change

On Baisakh 23, 2083, Mahila Janachetana Kendra (MJK) organized a focused neighborhood-level awareness program as part of its ongoing project: “Preventing & Responding to child marriage and early union.”The event, hosted at the premises of the Triveni Tole Development Organization, brought together members from various neighboring communities to discuss the social, health, and legal impacts of early marriage.

Community Participation

The program saw active engagement from the executive members and residents of several local Tole Development Organizations, including:

  • Navadurga Tole (B)

  • Srijanshil Tole

  • Kanchenjunga Tole

  • Triveni Tole

The interaction focused on identifying the root causes of child marriage within the community and empowering local leaders to take a proactive stand against it. By bringing together multiple Toles, the program fostered a sense of shared responsibility in protecting the rights and futures of young girls and boys.

Our Sincere Gratitude

The success of such initiatives depends entirely on community support. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the members of the participating Tole Development Organizations for their valuable time, their commitment to social reform, and their presence.

Together, we can ensure a safer, more empowered future for the next generation.
