We conducted SRHR training sessions in our three working areas: Mechinagar Municipality, Kachankawal RM, and Barhadashi RM, targeting groups of young girls. The training, led by Prakiti Bastola, an expert in the field, aimed to help young girls understand the importance of sexual and reproductive health, empower them with vital knowledge, encourage sexual education, and develop their ability to make informed life decisions. Each area had 20 participants, totaling 60 young girls from diverse backgrounds. In Kachankawal, all participants were from the Muslim community, while Barhadashi and Mechinagar had a mix of various castes. The training involved interactive sessions with slides, contraceptive devices, and condom demonstrations. Key topics discussed included sex, gender, sexuality, comprehensive sexual education, violence and safety, personal hygiene, sexual reproductive health rights, good and bad touch, cyber-crime and law, family planning, and safe abortion.
