Mahila Janchetana Kendra recently held a 7-day training on making reusable pads, supported financially by Tewa and technically by Freedom Kit Bags. Eighteen participants attended the training: 7 from Kachankawal, Jhapa; 3 from Barhadashi, Jhapa; and 8 from Mechinagar. Over the course of the week, participants were enthusiastic about learning from facilitators Nirmala Shrestha and Samjhana Danuwar from Freedom Kit Bags.
