We conducted an awareness session at Shree Janaki Secondary School in Kachankawal RM for students in classes 8 and 9, all from marginalized communities. The session focused on child rights and child marriage, aiming to clarify legal information and raise awareness. We introduced our organization and discussed the legal age for marriage, addressing misconceptions among students who believed there were different ages for girls and boys. We explained the negative impacts of child marriage on health, education, and personal development, and discussed students’ duties and responsibilities, along with the four pillars of child rights: survival, protection, development, and participation. After the orientation, we provided sports materials to the child club and advised on proper use. The session successfully informed students about child rights and child marriage, although we faced challenges due to higher-than-expected student attendance
