Empowering Voices: Interaction and Learning with Girls’ Groups

| |

A Platform for Growth and Connection
Meaningful change begins with the power of conversation. On Chaitra 28, 2082, a vibrant interaction program was held in Bhurunga, bringing together the dedicated members of the Phulbari Adolescent Girls’ Group (Kachankawal) and the Pathibhara Adolescent Girls’ Group (Barhadashi). The event was designed as a collaborative space for young leaders to exchange ideas, share personal journeys, and build a stronger network of support across their communities.

Program Highlights: Learning, Sharing, and Sport

The day was filled with energy, insight, and a shared commitment to development. Key activities included:

  • Exchange of Ideas: Participants engaged in open dialogues about their roles in society and how they can contribute to the betterment of their villages.

  • Experience Sharing: Members from both Kachankawal and Barhadashi shared their success stories and the challenges they have overcome, offering valuable lessons to one another.

  • A Friendly Match of Kabaddi: Adding to the excitement, the girls participated in a spirited game of Kabaddi. The match wasn’t just about competition; it highlighted the importance of physical health, teamwork, and the “can-do” spirit of these young women.

  • Memorable Moments: These “Ramailo Pal” (fun moments) on the field and in the workshop helped the girls bond through laughter, fostering a deep sense of sisterhood and mutual respect.

Driving Inspiration

The impact of the day went beyond simple conversation. The participants left Bhurunga with a renewed sense of motivation and inspiration. Whether through the strategic discussions held during the sessions or the teamwork displayed on the Kabaddi court, these young leaders are now better equipped to advocate for positive change.

Programs like these remind us that when youth come together to share their voices and their strengths, the entire community moves forward.
