Mahila Janachetana Kendra (MJK)<\/span><\/b> is a women-led, non-profit development organization established in <\/span>2003 AD (2060 BS)<\/span><\/b><\/span>. <\/span>Based in <\/span>Mechinagar, Jhapa<\/span><\/b>, MJK is a rights-based institution initiated, led, and operated “by, for, and of women”<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

Registered under the <\/span>Organization Registration Act (1987)<\/span><\/b> and affiliated with the <\/span>Social Welfare Council (SWC)<\/span><\/b>, we serve as a leading force for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI)<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>For over two decades, we have worked in close collaboration with governmental institutions and international partners to ensure the rights of women, children, and minorities as guaranteed by Nepal\u2019s constitution<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
