Orientation about child rights, child marriage and child friendly local government at School in Barhadasi RM.

| | |

We conducted an awareness session at Shree Pashupati Secondary School in Barhadashi RM, focusing on child rights and child marriage. After introducing our organization, we clarified the legal age for marriage, as some students were unaware of the correct age for both girls and boys. We explained the negative impacts of child marriage on health, education, and personal development, and discussed students’ responsibilities towards their school and family, as well as issues of good touch and bad touch. Sports materials were also provided to the child club with advice on proper use. The session effectively raised awareness about child rights and marriage, though managing student attention was challenging, with engagement improving when students were asked to participate actively.
