MJK recently organized a Leadership Development training for preventing child marriage in eastern Nepal (Koshi province). Funded by the Girls First Fund, the training aimed to enhance the leadership skills and confidence of young activists involved in the campaign. The program targeted members of child clubs, child club networks, and women’s rights activists, with the goal of clarifying their roles and responsibilities to improve their contributions to the campaign. The training was well-received, providing a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and gain motivation. Future trainings should allow more time, ensure uniform group dynamics, and include follow-up through networks to support ongoing learning and contributions.
