A speech competition on the theme “Marriage After 20” was successfully conducted in different schools across Mechinagar Municipality, Bahradashi Rural Municipality, and Kachankawal Rural Municipality. The event was held on 2081/10/25 at Gaurishankar Secondary School in Bahradashi, on 2081/10/29 at Kakarbhitta Secondary School in Mechinagar, and on 2081/11/02 at Janaki Secondary School in Kachankawal.
The program aimed to raise awareness among adolescents about the adverse effects of child marriage and encourage the practice of marrying after the age of 20. The competition proved to be an impactful platform for students, delivering a strong message about the importance of education and maturity before entering into marriage.
