Under the initiative of Mahila Janachetana Kendra (MJK), regular BLOP (Better life option) classes are being conducted in five schools — Janaki Secondary School (Kachankawal), Gaurishankar Secondary School (Barhadashi), Kakarvitta Secondary School (Mechinagar), Arniko Secondary School (Mechinagar), and Dhulabari Secondary School (Mechinagar).
In four of these schools, the sessions are facilitated every Friday by the School Health Nurse and Child Protection Teachers in close coordination with MJK.
At Arniko Secondary School, the classes are conducted directly by MJK staff.
These regular BLOP classes have shown positive impacts, helping students improve their knowledge, confidence, and awareness on issues related to health, child protection, and personal development.
